Last Saturday, the Joomla Italian community held the JoomlDay here in Italy, in Turin. The Joomla Day (http://www.joomladay.it/) is a cornerstone event for the large Joomla community we have in here in Italy and is one of most relevant events for OSS community overall. This has been a very successful edition whith more than 1500 attendees. Mitch Pirtle, one of cofounders of Joomla! Project was also a special guest of this event , along with a list of speakers who talked about sever tech aspects of Joomla! CMS, ranging from Apps development, to mobile, to solution building and optimization, to the Joompla! Future ( the event agenda here ). Microsoft had the opportunity to deliver a couple of speeches :
– Joomla usage on Windows Azure (delivered by V.F. Lo Russo)
– Windows 8 Apps with HTML5 and JS (delivereb by P.Brambati)
With the support of MIC Torino, at desk have been collected more than 1000 feedback forms of people interested in Microsoft technology.
